Ann
Geerinck is a graphic designer, illustrator and educator, she
lives and works in Antwerp. After graduating as a graphic designer
at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (1986), she confirms
her love for illustration through further studies at the Higher
Institute of Fine Arts Antwerp and an additional specialization
year of book illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava
/ Slovakia (1989).
Her professional career develops in different fields:
She makes illustrations for literary, informative and interactive
3D applications.
Since 1990 she is creative partner in studio Orsodesign. Orsodesign
is a designstudio with a multidisciplinary approach. They offer
a wide range of creative services like: concept, modeling, industrial
design, graphic design and illustration.
She is professor in illustration and typeface design at the Royal
Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp where she shares her artistic and
professional experience with the students of the bachelor and
master of the graphic design department. In addition to her teaching
activity she is head of the department graphic design since 2013.
